Navigation
In this episode, t’s look at an easily overlooked feature that makes browsing a repository as easy as using a web browser.
To demonstrate this, let’s navigate to the History and select a certain commit. The navigation bar on the top shows us where exactly we are in the repository. We can click on any part of the path to quickly jump back to a previous view.
Additionally, we can use the back and forward buttons to move through the different views - as you would do in a web browser.
The navigation bar is especially handy when working with submodules, which we will look at in our next episode.
