Publishing a Local Tag on a Remote
Every local tag is kept private to you by default - you can decide yourself if and when you want to publish it on a remote server. If you decide to do so, the new tag will be created on the remote server.
In theory, you could use Git's standard "push" feature to publish a tag. However, to make this easier, Tower offers a special interface when it comes to publishing a local tag on a remote.
Publish a Local Tag on a Remote
You can publish a local tag in different ways:
- drag the local tag in the sidebar and drop it onto the remote you want to publish it on
- right-click the local tag in the sidebar and select
